NEICAC's David Boss appointed to state commission

Iowa Governor Terry Branstad has appointed Winneshiek County Relief Director David Boss, an NEICAC staff member, to a 2-year term as a member of the Iowa Council on Homelessness.

The committee identifies the causes of homelessness and ensures all Iowans have access to safe, decent and affordable housing, health care and education. 

Boss is the Director of Community Outreach & Development with Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC), based in Decorah.  He has administered NEICAC's Homeless/Homeless Prevention efforts through its seven county service area for over a decade.  NEICAC serves the seven northeastern Iowa Counties of: Allamakee, Bremer, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek.
