North Winneshiek School Board prepares for 2012-2013 school year

The North Winneshiek School Board on Monday night did some work to get ready for the next school year.

The Board approved Employers Mutual Insurance Company as the district's property and casualty insurance carrier for the 2012-2013 school year.  It also approved the staff and student handbooks for the 2012-2013 school year.  The handbooks include school administrative policies and some annual notices.
 
Finally, the school board approved several bids on contracts for the 2012-2013 school year: Martin Brothers from Cedar Falls won the milk contract; Sara Lee from LaCrosse won the bread contract; AgVantage, from Waverly won the LP Gas contract; Hovden Oil from Ridgeway won the gasoline contract and Hovey Oil from Harmony won the diesel and heating fuel contract.
