Mayo Clinic Health Systems announces plans for public presentation

Mayo Clinic Health Systems has announced plans for an open community forum later this month about health care in northeast Iowa.  The free forum will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19th, at the Hotel Winneshiek in downtown Decorah.

The forum will feature Mayo Clinic Health System Chief Executive Officer Dr. Robert Nesse, Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare Chief Executive Officer Dr. Tim Johnson and Decorah physician Dr. Brian Dougan.  The panel will discuss the decisions regarding the Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan and how to keep the community's medical center healthy.  A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
