City recognizes property owners that host eagles; appoint Library and Low Rent Housing Agency board members

Mayor Don Arendt has signed letters acknowledging the appreciation of the City to property owners that have been host to efforts associated with the internationally known Decorah eagles. Recipients of the letters will be Willard and Mary Ellen Holthaus; Jacob and Holly Mengelsen.

In other business Monday night the City Council approved Ed Brooks as a new Library Board member; and renewed appointments of Norma Smith, Britt Smith, and Jim Burns to the Low Rent Housing Agency Board.
