Fish Hatchery education/visitors Center ribbon cutting is Friday morning

The Friends of Decorah Fish Hatchery will hold a ribbon cutting Friday for the new 24 foot-by-44 foot education/visitors center/restrooms at the Hatchery. There will be tours of the new building, as well as an 11 a.m. ribbon-cutting, but there will be programs,and activities beginning at 9:00.  

The restroom part of the building has been operative since May. The structure can also be reserved for family gatherings, receptions, etc. by calling the hatchery to reserve (suggested donation of $100).  The next part of the project will be to develop educational kiosks and other informational material for the many visitors to the hatchery.

The public is invited to attend.
