Former Decorah resident sentenced on child porn charges in West Virginia

Former Decorah resident Scott Wedo has been sentenced to two years in prison on five counts of child pornography in a Cabell County, West Virigina court. The prison terms are to run concurrently and Wedo will face 30 years of supervision after his release, must register as sex offender and forfeit his computer as part of a plea deal.

In May, 51-year-old Scott Wedo pleaded guilty to five counts of distributing and exhibiting material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. He was sentenced on June 28.
