Coop announces sidewalk work for Monday and Tuesday

Beginning at 7:00 am this coming Monday, July 2nd, the sidewalk next to the west side of the Oneota Co-op will be under construction.  Contractors will be removing the old sidewalk and installing a new sidewalk, which will include a ramp for easier access to the parking lot with grocery carts, wheelchairs, and other wheeled devices.

The entire stretch of sidewalk will be blocked off and unusable on Monday, July 2nd and Tuesday, July 3rd.  Additionally, the row of parking directly next to the building will not be usable during this time.  Customers will need to continue to utilize the front doors of the Co-op as an entrance and exit from the building and are encouraged to proceed to the corner of Water Street and River Street and follow the sidewalk past the Water Street Park and to the front of the store.

The contractor is confident the project will be completed by the opening of the store on Wednesday, July 4th at 10:00 am.
