Former Luther College football player Chris Norton—who has been recovering from paralysis suffered in a Luther football game—now has some new help in his recovery.
Norton spoke recently at the Lynch Family Foundation golf tournament fundraiser at Oneota Country club in Decorah. Other speakers included Iowa State Head Football Coach Paul Rhoads and Aaron Thomas from Applington Parkersburg.
Chris' message to the group was that your responses to the adversity in your life determine your outcome, not your circumstances. Faith in God and hard work determines your outcome not the obstacles you face.
Following the speech, the Lynch family presented Chris with a surpise gift--a tandem recumbent bike. He has really been wanting to bike with his friends and this will be a way for him to do that.
