UPDATE: Alcohol compliance check results in charges against two Winneshiek County taverns

Two Winneshiek County taverns and their employees face charges following alcohol compliance checks conducted by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies say Bambino's Tavern in Ossian and Woody's Bar and Grill in Fort Atkinson sold beer to 18-year-olds.  The two taverns face penalties.

Meaawhile, an employee of Bambinos' Tavern, Alisha Goettl of Cresco,has been charged with selling and/or providing an alcoholic beverage to someone under the legal drinking ago and an employee of Woody's Bar and Grill, Trisha Shatek of Fort Atkinson, faces a similar charge.
