Several employee groups at Northeast Iowa Community College have new contracts for the 2012-2013 school year.
The NICC Support Staff Association agreement provides a total package increase of 3.98 percent, which includes a $0.50 per hour wage increase and a $5.00 per month increase in the employee contribution toward family health insurance.
The NICC Higher Education Association agreement provides for a total package increase of 3.98 percent, which includes a 3.75 percent salary increase and a $10.00 per month increase in the employee contribution toward family health insurance.
The NICC Board of Trustees also approved a 3.98 percent increase in total package for NICC non-bargaining employees, which includes a $500.00 increase to the base pay of all full-time non-bargaining staff, a pro-rated base pay increase for part-time staff, and a 2.75 percent increase after the base pay increase. Dependent on classification within the non-bargaining ranks, employees will pay either a $5.00 or $10.00 per month increase in the employee contribution to family health insurance.
