Recent Decorah High School graduates Carolina Deifelt-Streese, Jonathon Winter, Connor Edrington and Aaron Larson placed third internationally out of more than 60 teams at the International Future Problem Solving Competition.

Students wrote essays in a "Global Issues Problem Solving Booklet," then were given three hours to create a skit as part of a "Presentation of Action Plan" and make props to present their action plan.   Elements of the seniors' presentation were the ghost of Teddy Roosevelt, Trust-Busting, and a dance-off.

Two other teams traveled to to the competition--a freshmen team of Simon Cropp, Teressa Lundtvedt, Gabby Bruns and Connor Freeman and a sophomore team of Dailen Folkedahl, Sam Iverson, Brad Suhr and Nick VandeKrol.
