UPDATE: Part of Pole Line Road will be closed Thursday to all but local traffic

Pole Line Road will be closed starting Thursday to all but local traffic from Highway 9 near Cresco east to the intersection with County W-14.

The Winneshiek County Engineer's Office made the announcement Tuesday morning, saying crews would be working on culvert replacements, closing the road for several weeks.  One lane local only traffic will be allowed until project completion, which is expected to be the end of August.
