Decorah's Family Care Clinic has hired a Nurse Practitioner

The Family Care Clinic in Decorah has hired a Nurse Practitioner,  Carol Kelly, to see patients at the clinic.

Kelly will be joining Dr. David Heine MD, and Marcy Fadness PA, as providers at the clinic.  The independent family medicine clinic recently moved to a new location at 911 South Mill Street.

Kelly has a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Master's in Nursing from Winona State, and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 1998.  She recently has also completed her certification as a Whole Health Coach.

In addition to her medical qualifications, Kelly is an active community member, singing with Decorah Chorale, acting with The New Minowa Players, and volunteering at The Decorah Free Clinic.

She said " I feel lucky to be a part of such an innovative and bright team that puts what is best for the patient first.  This is a wonderful attribute of this clinic.  I feel that I have a skill set and experience level that will allow me to  bring a lot to this practice and enhance what they are already doing so very well."
