Construction crews have poured concrete for the Trout Run Trail Bridge over Highway 9.
Crews began pouring concrete around 6:00 Friday morning and kept going through around 1:00 p.m., taking a break after pouring three-quarters of the bridge to reposition the concrete truck on the other side of the structure.
There are a number of steps left before the bridge is complete, including pouring curbs, painting the bridge and installing tension cables that will keep the bridge from moving too much, but the concrete pouring is a significant step towards the completion of the bridge--and the completion of Trout Run Trail.
