Soldier from 322nd EN loses his fight with cancer

Spc. Bradley Foreman from Michigan, who completed a tour of duty in Afghanistan earlier this year with the 322nd Engineer Company out of Decorah, has lost his battle with cancer.

Foreman learned he had liver cancer just days after returning from his deployment in Afghanistan.

Despite having cancer, Foreman, his wife, Michelle, and their daughter made the trip from Michigan to be with the 322nd Engineering Company soldiers in Decorah just two weeks ago.

Foreman told decorahnews.com the reception he got in Decorah was "overwhelming" and "humbling."

Funeral arrangements are pending for Spc. Foreman.
