Commission is still working on sidewalk ordinance

The City of Decorah's Planning and Zoning Commission is getting closer to voting on an updated sidewalk ordinance.

Commission members have been discussing a proposal that would set in motion a program to install and upgrade sidewalks in the community.  A draft of that ordinance has now been sent to City Attorney Rick Zahasky and City Engineer Lindsay Erdman for their comments.  The P & Z Commission may vote on the measure next month.
