The Laura Ingalls Wilder Park and Museum is auctioning off a framed print of a drawing done by artist James Meger.

The print has been donated to the museum by its board president, Connie Strom.  She previously ran a frame shop and art gallery in New Hampton, where she met and got to know Meger.

The framed print was originally listed for sale at $1,000. Bids will start at $500.  Sealed bids must be postmarked by June 18th and sent to the Museum at 3603 236th Avenue, Burr Oak, Iowa, 52101 .  The winning bidder will be announced at Laura Days on June 23rd.  As the museum is a non-profit corporation,  the purchaser may use their bid as a donation and tax-deduction.

The framed canvas will be on display in the lobby of Decorah Bank and Trust until June 22nd.
