New CRNA hired at Winneshiek Medical Center

Winneshiek Medical Center has hired a lead certified nurse anesthetist.

Dean Beinborn joins Christine Sims in providing general anesthesia care, pain management and obstetrical anesthesia care at Winneshiek Medical Center.

Beinborn received his undergraduate degree in nursing from Viterbo University in La Crosse.  A member of the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve, Dean became a certified registered nurse anesthetist through the United States Air Force Nurse Anesthesia Residency program in San Antonio, Texas. 

Beinborn has provided anesthesia care in military and private hospitals since 1983.   He retired from the Air Force with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2001 and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.  

Although raised is Boscobel, Wisconsin, Dean came to Winneshiek Medical Center following a 26-year career in an urban medical center.
