Work has begun on new Decorah soccer fields

Crews began work on Tuesday on seeding the property next to Will Baker Park, which will eventually become home to new soccer fields.

Decorah Park-Rec Director Rick Edwards says there is enough property at the site to create two full-size high school soccer fields, but the area will probably be aligned to create the smaller fields that are used by kids soccer programs.
