DHS holds Commencement in new facilities

Top academic honorees

The 131st commencement of Decorah High School was held Sunday afternoon for 138 graduates in the new gym of Decorah High School. The air conditioned facility was a welcome relief on the hot and humid day. It also was able to easily accommodate all visitors, although future larger classes (the next two classes are about 20-25 students larger) could make the seating a bit tighter.

Academic honorees in the photo include: Valedictorians Elizabeth Hovden and Emma Breitenstein; Salutatorian Jonathan Winter; Valedictorians Pearl Faldet and Erin Voss.
