Wood chips will return soon to City Yard Waste Site

There's been a run on wood chips at the City of Decorah's Yard Waste Site on Trout Run Road.

City Street Commissioner Dave Tollefson says a recent mulch giveaway that included a skidloader that helped load wood chips for free was so popular there temporarily aren't any wood chips to be had at the site.  Tollefson says city workers will produce some more wood chips in another week or two--as soon as there are enough tree branches to be chipped.
