Number of garden plots at the community garden sets a record

The growing popularity of locally grown food is being shown in one more way.  36 people have rented plots at Decorah's Community Garden, in back of the dike north of the Flat.

Decorah Park-Rec Director Rick Edwards says the figure sets a record for the popularity of the garden.  In fact, on Tuesday a tractor was plowing up more space near the community garden.
