Reader thanks Decorah Parks and Rec for Wold Park facilities

In early April, decorahnews.com reader Ron Lysne e-mailed: "It would be nice to have restrooms at the Wold Park for people who use the bike trail and the park. If not permanent ones, maybe portables ones from the first of April through the end of October. Does anyone else agree with this suggestion?"

Now Lysne has e-mailed again to report that a portapotty has been installed at Wold Park and to say, "I would like to publicly say thank you to Rick Edwards and the Decorah Park Board."

Rick Edwards tells decorahnews.com that there's even more good news.  The portapotty eventually will be removed--probably later this year--once a path can be created from Trout Run Trail to Team Rehab.  That's because the owners of Team Rehab have agreed to let bike riders use the restrooms at Team Rehab.  Bike riders will even be allowed to use the showers at the fitness center for a small fee.

Once the path to Team Rehab is created, signs will be posted to tell bike riders about the access.
