Winneshiek County supervisors are trying to figure out whether "No Parking" signs should be added to the side of the road on Quarry Hill Road.

County Engineer Lee Bjerke says a neighboring property owner has complained to him about cars parked incorrectly along the street.  Bjerke told supervisors Monday that it was the first such complaint that he has heard about parked cars on the road.  He says he has not heard any complaints from the Bruening Rock Product dump truck drivers--and they're usually pretty good about alerting his office to any problems.

There are several entrances to Van Peenan Park along Quarry Hill Road, so county officials say they will consult with City of Decorah officials to see whether changes need to be made along the road in order to tell park users where they can--and cannot--park.
