City of Decorah officials to discuss possible Health and Wellness Center

The City of Decorah's Property Committee will meet at 6:00 p.m. Monday to discuss a possible Health and Wellness Center in the community.

With the demolition of the Wapsie Produce building, some have suggested the site would be a good location for a Health and Wellness Center.  Property Committee members will meet at City Hall Monday night to discuss that location and other possible locations throughout the community.

Community supporters tried unsuccessfully to create a facility on Pole Line Road for softball fields and soccer fields.  Now that same group has been turning its attention to the possibility of a Health and Wellness Center in Decorah.
