649 teams from 257 schools participated in a recent math contest, and of the 3,295 fourth graders who entered the contest, three Carrie Lee students ranked in the top 10%.  The Noetic Learning Math Contest is a biannual math contest for elementary students. The contest encourages students' interest in math, develops their problem solving skills, and inspires them to excel.

Fourth graders in Rhonda Thompson's math enrichment program participated in the spring test, and all received honorable mention by scoring at least 50%.

Three students, Lillian Grouws, Andrew Magner, and Isaac Roberts scored at least 85% to achieve the National Honor Roll.  Grouws earned a second medal for being highest scorer on the Decorah team.  Students receiving honorable mention were:  Shayla Bettts, Isabel Blanchard, Allison Donley, Owen Henning, Aidan Hunter, Danielle Lundtvedt, Nathan Monteith, Sam Robinson, Keaton Solberg, Gabe Vilardo, and Tucker Young.
