Absentee balloting for June primary begins Thursday in Winneshiek County

Absentee voting will begin Thursday for the June 5th primary election in Winneshiek County.

Voters must choose a party (Republican or Democrat) to vote in the primary.  Voters are also reminded that the new voting precincts and supervisor districts are now in effect. 

The Winneshiek County Auditor's Office coordinated with the Secretary of State to mail each registered voter a postcard with information about their new voting precincts.  Questions can be directed to the County Auditor's office at auditor@co.winneshiek.ia.us or (563) 382-5085.
