Decorah High School's Community Club has raised money for "We Help War Victims," an organization that helps Laotians in a variety of ways, including donating book boxes to schools, wheelchairs to war victims and medical supplies to those who need them.

The Community Club sold tubes filled with mini M&Ms, asking students and staff to fill the tubes with quarters when the M&Ms were gone, providing funds to We Help War Victims.  They also placed buckets in several classrooms and in the office for donations.

Decorah High School's junior class then joined the campaign by asking for donations at Prom.

The fundraiser will run until May 1st.  The junior class sponsor is Tom Houdek; Liz Fox is the advisor for Community Club.  For more information, contact We Help War Victims website at http://www.wehelpwarvictims.org/.
