Why are people wearing jeans Wednesday?

30 percent of sexual violence victims do not report the crime.

That's why a number of Decorah residents are observing "Denim Day" on Wednesday.  The event is aimed at raising awareness about sexual violence.  Employees of Bank of the West, Sunflower Childcare, NE Iowa Behavioral Health, Helping Services and Decorah High School are among those wearing blue jeans Wednesday to show their commitment to ending sexual violence.
