Progress is being made on Frankville water project

The Frankville water project is taking another step towards becoming a reality.

Winneshiek County supervisors met Monday with County Attorney Andy Van Der Maaten and consulting engineer George Tekippe to discuss the contract with Tekippe Engineering for engineering services for the project.  There is no local Frankville Water Board established yet, but when one is established, Winneshiek County will assing its contract with Tekippe Engineering to the Water Board.

It is expected that contracts will be released in February or March of next year for the construction of the community water system in Frankville.
