Luther College presidential search is ramping up

The search firm hired to help Luther College find a new president has wrapped up a two day visit to campus.

Dr. Bruce Alton, senior consultant with AGB Search, visited Luther College to gather feedback about the qualities needed in the next college president. He held a "town meeting" on Tuesday, and met with nearly 20 groups while on campus.

Luther president  Rick Torgerson is retiring at the end of the next school year.  The Luther Board of Regents hopes to make a decision on a new president some time in early spring of 2013.
