Lawn mowers, bikes and grills can still be recycled

The Winneshiek County Recycling Department is reminding the public that the bicycle, barbeque grill and lawn mower recycling program that began last summer is still going on.

Well over 1,000 of these items were received at the recycling center.

Bicycles, grills and lawn mowers can be dropped off at the Winneshiek County Recycling Center located at 2510 172nd Avenue during the regular business hours of 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The service is open to everyone.  You do not have to be a resident of Winneshiek County to use the services of the recycling center.
