Decorah Boy Scout plans project to clean up Freeport Park

A Decorah Boy Scout will tackle cleaning up Freeport Park as his Eagle project.

Scott Zaft, a junior at Decorah High School, says he will clean up the park, remove weeds, add wood chips and install a garbage can as part of his project for his Eagle Scout badge.

Scott will work with the Winneshiek County Conservation Board to coordinate the park clean-up.
