15 Decorah Middle School students honored at Solo and Ensemble Orchestra Festival

15 Decorah Middle School students received top honors at a recent Middle School Orchestra Solo and Ensemble Festival

Students in grades six, seven and eight prepared solos or ensembles and played them before the judges, Jeanette Spilde and Dr. Daniel Baldwin.

Carine Yee and Augusta Casterton received "Best of Site" recognition.  Others receiving top honors were Linnea Carlson, Trista Erickson, Micala Folkedahl, Chloe Gossling, Isabel Iverson, Adam Krieger, Andrew Larson, Nathan Larson, Katie Perez, Jarod Phillips, Kayla Quandahl, Tim Winter and Katelyn Yee.
