Ho-hum...an eighth straight day of record high temperatures.

The high temperature in Decorah set a record for the eighth straight day on Thursday.  The National Weather Service says the temperature reached 79 degrees Thursday, breaking the previous record high of 73 degrees set in 1921.

The string of record high temperatures will likely end on Friday, when showers will keep the high in the upper 60s.  The record high temperature for March 23rd is 80 degrees, set in 1939.
