Easter Egg Hunt registration deadline is Monday

The Decorah Parks & Recreation Department is getting ready for its annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The deadline to register for the event is 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 5th.  The $3 per child fee is to be paid in person at the Park-Rec. Office located at City Hall.  You receive an official Easter basket to use the day of the Hunt—this is your ticket.

The Hunt will take place at Phelps Park at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 1st.  Children ages 3 to 8 are invited to participate.  They will be limited to finding four plastic eggs filled with candy or toys and one labeled egg to redeem for a special surprise.  All egg hunters receive participation gifts at the close the Hunt. 

The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures with the children.
