What's the cleanest, friendliest Culver's restaurant in the country? According to an award presented at the annual meeting of all the Culver's franchises in the country, it's the Decorah Culver's restaurant.
Culver's co-owner Lisa Roberson was presented the "Ruth Award" at the recent Culver's convention in Phoenix, Arizona. The award is named after founder Craig Culver's mother, Ruth, who had a reputation in her family for being "The Queen of Hospitality."
Regional Culver's representative Rita Larson nominated the Decorah Culver's for the award, which is given to a Culver's "whose team consistently exemplifies superior hospitality each and every day."
In comments leading up to the presentation, Lee Culver praised the Decorah Culver's for being "absolutely meticulous" and being "very deserving of the award."
The Decorah Culver's has won other awards since opening in October of 2006, but the Ruth Award is considered a top national award. Said Roberson, "It's a really neat honor."
