City Yard Waste Site will open early

Gardeners, start your engines!  The City of Decorah's Yard Waste Site will be open at 8:00 Tuesday morning and from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. every weekday for the foreseeable future. 

City Street Superintendent Dave Tollefson says the facility will not be staffed--so long as the public obeys the rules.  The yard waste site is intended only for City of Decorah residents, since it is paid for through city property taxes.

The Yard Waste Site will be unlocked every weekday morning at 8:00 a.m. and locked every weekday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., assuming there are no problems.
