For the second day in a row, Decorah set a record for high temperature on Thursday.
The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says the temperature reached 79 degrees on Thursday afternoon. Once again, that mark far surpassed the previous record high--in this case, a high of 70 degrees, set in1995.
With temperatures predicted to continue in the 70s through next Tuesday, Decorah could break Friday's record of 78 degrees, set in 1930; Saturday's record of 77 degrees, set in 1894; Sunday's record of 70 degrees, set in 1938; Monday's record of 74 degrees, set in 1921; and Tuesday's record of 77 degrees, set in 1938.
