Vesterheim is seeking submissions from folk artists

Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum is asking folk artists to enter their pieces in the museum's annual National Exhibition of Folk Art in the Norwegian Tradition.

The museum's folk art exhibition this year will be open six weeks longer than in past years--from June 7th through July 28th.  It will include woodworking, knifemaking, rosemaling and weaving by contemporary American artists working in the Norwegian tradition.

Along with selling their pieces, exhibitors also compete for honors, including "People's Choice" and "Best of Show."
