Charges filed against three Decorah teenagers in child enticement investigation

Three Decorah teenagers now face charges in connection with two child enticement incidents March 2nd and 5th.

18-year-old Jason Orvis and 18-year-old Erik Orvis of 2547 Eastwood Road in Decorah have each been charged with two counts of third degree Harassment, while 17-year-old Brendon Kacher also faces two counts of third degree harassment, but has been referred to Juvenile Court Services because he is a minor.

A news release from the Decorah Police Department stated, "While there did not appear to be any intent to physically harm children, the incidents were considered to be very serious and prompted a comprehensive response by the Decorah Police Department and the (Decorah) School District."
