Luther students will participate in Women as Global Leaders Conference

Four Luther College students have been chosen to serve as presenters at the 2012 Women as Global Leaders Conference at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, March 13th through the 15th.   Mikaela Belland, a senior from Chaska, Minnesota, Ashley Matthys, a senior from Red Wing, Minnesota, Anne Proescholdt, a senior from Cumberland, Wisconsin,  and Mandie Mickelson, a December 2011 Luther graduate from Hopkins, Minnesota, will be accompanied on the trip by Luther professor of communication studies Kim Powell.

The Luther students will present a panel discussion session titled "How Prominent Women Use Media to Effect Socially Sustainable Change."
