CRP sign-up will start next week

The Winneshiek County Farm Service Agency office will hold an informational meeting about the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) sign-up process at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the lower level of the office in the Decorah Business Park.

A Conservation Reserve Program general sign-up will start next Monday, March 12th, and will run through April 6th.

Presenters will include DNR officials Terry Hainfield and Brian Sauer and FSA Director Julie Vulk.

The meeting is open to anyone interested in enrolling new land or re-enrolling CRP that is expiring September 30th.
