Winneshiek Hospice hires new nurse manager

Winneshiek Medical Center has a new hurse manager for its Home Health and Hospice department.  Nancy Haberichter has 22 years experience in home health care, coming to Winneshiek Medical Center from Veteran's Memorial Hospital Community and Home Care in Waukon.

"Home health was the reason I first continued my education, and it remains my passion to this day," says Haberichter.  "I am an advocate for home health patients and senior citizens.  With so many health care options available, it is vitally important senior citizens know what is available to them and actively participate in decisions regarding their care."

Haberichter obtained her registered nurse education from Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa.  In addition to her nursing profession, Haberichter provides nursing management for an assisted living center in Waukon.
