Postville man arrested on sexual abuse charge

Charges have been filed against a Postville man as a result of an investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department.

33-year-old Scott Hughes has been charged with third degree sexual abuse--a class C felony--and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse--an aggravated misdemeanor.

The Sheriff's Department was assisted in its investigation by the Postville Police Department and by the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office.
