NICC offering Boiler Technician course

NICC Calmar is offering a Boiler Technician course on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. every night, beginning March 6th and running through April 5th.  The class will be held in room 113 of the Dairy Center on Highway 150, just south of the college's Calmar campus.  

 In this 30-hour course, instructor Luke Wolfs will teach students all facets of steam boiler operation maintenance and trouble shooting. Common boiler auxiliaries and operation techniques will be covered in detail, along with boiler safety and efficiency.  Participants must have a current Boiler Operator I certificate and bring a hand calculator to each session.
