The Decorah Municipal Bathhouse and Swimming Pool has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The listing is the culmination of a three year effort by the Decorah Historic Preservation Commission that included the hiring of a consultant to help with the writing and submission of an application for the National Register.
A recognition ceremony for the listing is currently in the planning stages.
The Decorah Municipal Pool Building has been in continuous use since it opened in the spring of 1937.
