Enrollment at Northeast Iowa Community College is down again during the spring semester.
Vice president of academic affairs Curt Oldfield says there has been a two percent in head count and five percent drop in credit hours. Oldfield says NICC's results are similar to the downward trend being seen across the state and nation.
"The other trend that we are noticing is the increasing number of part-time students," he said. "We have more students who are working and going to school part time. Currently 38 percent of NICC students are full-time and 62 percent are part-time." This is compared to a 46 percent full-time enrollment in 2009.
