Eight Luther College faculty members have been granted tenure

Eight members of the Luther College faculty are now tenured.

The Luther College Board of Regents over the weekend approved tenure for Alfredo Alonso Estenoz and Nancy Gates Madsen in the modern languages and literatures department; Heather Armstrong in the music department; Erin Flater in the physics department; Doug Knick in the education department; Britt Rhodes in the social work department; Paul Savariappan in the mathematics department; and Stephanie Travers in the psychology department.  All eight individuals were also promoted to associate professor.

Meanwhile five faculty members were promoted to full professor by the Board of Regents: Colin Betts, Charlotte Kunkel, Kent Lee, Novian Whitsitt and Jeffrey Wilkerson.
