Two-car accident leads to traffic charges

The Decorah Police Department has released details of an accident that occurred Thursday, February 2nd.

A Cresco man, 67-year-old Gordon Eddy, was ticketed for failure to yield the right-of-way after he crashed into a car driven by 43-year-old Jamie Lynne Esler of Decorah.  The accident occurred at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 2nd at the intersection of Water and Mechanic Streets.  Neither driver was injured, but the crash caused $9,500 in damages.
